Unfortunately we have had to postpone our 150th anniversary celebration. As soon as we have a new date we will let you know!

In 2020 First United Methodist Church will celebrate 150 years of ministry! This big milestone in our church’s legacy of vibrant ministry in the past while looking to the future with hopes to continue changing lives and transforming communities is a grand opportunity to celebrate and organize. Sunday, April 19 promises be a wonderful day of celebration at First Church! There will be a special combined worship service at 10:50 in the Sanctuary, followed by an all church catered meal in Meredith Hall featuring memories over the past 150 years.  Be sure to put this important date on your calendar and plan to join us in celebrating 150 years of ministry at First United Methodist Church in downtown Wichita!

April 19: 150th Anniversary Kick-off!

Everyone is welcome “home” to kick off our 150th celebration. There will be a catered meal served following worship

Rescheduled to 2021: 50th Anniversary “Free” Reunion

October 4: Celebration of Missions

World Communion Sunday and 2021 Mission Team Reveal
