Over the course of human history, dance has played a major role in both artistic and religious expression. It has also, at times, been an issue of great contention between the two. From David dancing in the king’s temple to “Contact” being the first “dance play” to win a Tony Award, we will examine the ins and outs of dance and the complicated relationship between art and faith. Come join in the conversation as we ask questions and seek new understanding.
