Ministry Area: Overseeing the effective use, maintenance and purchase of all media equipment that the church has chosen to invested the resources given by the members of the congregation and TV viewers.
Bio: I have lived most of my live here in Wichita. I attended East High and WSU. I started work at KAKE-TV Ch 10 at the age of 16. However my experience with KAKE goes back to 1968 when my dad and Dr. Bill Boyle started producing two TV shows at KAKE TV, “Doodle Time” and “Uncle Bill Reads the Funnies.” Growing up I helped with the production of the two shows and even appearing on “Doodle Time” at the age of 5.
While at KAKE I worked on many types of productions and served in all aspects of broadcasting. Everything from WSU Football, Basketball, Baseball, to professional wrestling, Miss USA Kansas and Miss America Kansas pageants, film productions, to making sales calls and shooting news footage to name just a few. In 2016 I joined First United Methodist Church as the Director of Media. However, while working for KAKE, I have directed morning worship on TV since 1990.
I am a passionate believer in the TV broadcast and how it reaches those who for whatever reason cannot attend a church in person. I feel that providing a way for others to worship and know God is a very special gift that I have been given. I am looking forward to where God is going to take the TV Ministry in the future and what it will look like in another 40 years.
Family: My wife and I have 3 children, who all live and attend school in the Wichita area.
